Venom: The Last Dance

Storyline

Venom: The Last Dance is an emotional, high-stakes, and explosive road-trip finale directed and co-written by Kelly Marcel, bringing the beloved cinematic saga of Eddie Brock and his alien symbiote companion to a sweeping, dramatic culmination. Following their brief interdimensional hop through the multiverse, Eddie and Venom find themselves labeled as fugitives by the international authorities, fleeing through the arid, sunburned deserts of Mexico and the neon-lit entertainment alleys of Las Vegas as they attempt to make their way covertly to New York City. However, their fugitive survival journey escalates into an existential cosmic crisis when Knull, the primordial, godlike cosmic entity imprisoned at the birth of the universe who created the symbiotes, awakens from the shadows of deep space. Seeking to unlock his cosmic cage and obliterate the cosmos, Knull dispatches terrifying, near-invulnerable alien predators known as Xenophages across the galaxies to hunt down the Codex—a unique, metaphysical molecular key formed only when a symbiote completely bonds to save its host's life, which Eddie and Venom now unknowingly harbor. As Eddie and Venom are hunted from one direction by the ruthless terrestrial military operative General Rex Strickland operating out of the decommissioned Area 51 complex, they must also evade the relentless alien carnivores that track their every transformation. Realizing that the Codex will activate and unleash cosmic oblivion if either of them transforms openly, Eddie and Venom are pushed to make heartbreaking, profound personal sacrifices to save all of humanity. Filled with exhilarating symbiotic transformations, hilarious creature hijinks, and deep emotional resonance, The Last Dance provides a grand, tearful sendoff.
