Directed by visionary filmmaker S. Shankar and produced by Sun Pictures, the 2010 science-fiction superhero epic Enthiran (The Robot) shattered all previous box office records to become the highest-grossing Tamil film of all time, winning two Academy Awards for Special Effects and Production Design.
